Please join us to experience an exquisite walking tour of one of Hawaii’s most beautiful Botanical Gardens. You will be treated to a leisurely walking experience guided by our own Garden Director, Lanny Neel, a Professor of Botany for the past 20 years.

Your tour guide will lead you to a spectacular view of Umauma Falls, a triple tiered waterfall, proclaimed to be one of Hawaii’s most beautiful falls. This location is a must stop for both novice and professional photographers alike. From there you will be taking an unhurried walk through our tropical Rainforest. You will follow along a quiet, serene, natural spring fed stream lined by many of Hawaii’s unique plants and trees. This informative walk will lead you to our lunch pavilion, in the shady forest overlooking the natural stream. Here you will enjoy the sights and sounds of the flowing waters.

A delicious lunch will be prepared and served by one of our local Hawaiian caterers. Dessert will be samplings of fresh fruit carefully selected for taste and interest from our own Garden and other locally grown locations. While you are savoring exotic tropical fruits, your tour guide will provide you with interesting facts and information about how to choose the best quality fruits at the market, as well as how to prepare them.

Following lunch the group will proceed to our final destination, a guided walk through the magnificent Rainbow Gardens. This portion of the tour follows along a paved walkway and is surrounded by lush plants, for optimum viewing and that perfect picture. Plants of special interest will be pointed out and questions answered along the way. At the conclusion of the Rainbow Walk apple bananas and cold fruit juice or bottled water will be provided as part of your tour.
